Meet Outcycle
You might not know them just yet. I am telling you the story of two boys, school friends, animated by the same passion: creation, songwriting, production, and community building of like-minded people. You have heard this story intro a thousand times; we all have. And yet, this one is once again different. Their story is rising up as a voice speaking for their generation. It is a voice that grows louder and louder, a scream for help, shouting out how lost we, the new generation, are amidst a collapsing world. They don’t stop there. They go further: they take you with them on their quest towards a better world - no - let’s not repeat the same mistakes and illusions of past generations. Let’s not aim for a better world; let’s aim to rebuild the one we already have, let’s fix it, let’s change patterns, let’s break the cycle. That is what they are offering to all of us. They offer a way out that is not a way in and through. Because, no, they don’t believe this is the only way out.

I could have asked them a few questions, but easy enough, they answer all of them in their songs. What should you do now? Sit back, pause for a second, listen to one song at a time, and get a sense of their mission, and maybe join their team - as they like to call it “l’équipe”. The team is getting bigger and bigger each day, each week, each month. Event after event, show after show, song release after song release. It won’t stop - it can’t stop.
There is a way out: it involves going out and coming back. It begins with breaking the cycle. Then, it's about repairing instead of merely fixing and numbing what is broken. It's about elevating your creative game and developing your own unique repair strategies that will work not only for you but for the collective to get back on track. The way out is not the way in and through. It involves repairing, fixing, and non-conformism. It's about challenging what is in place and taking full ownership to make things change.
